Refresher Media Training for School Leaders

This is for graduates of the Media Interview Training for School Leaders workshop who want to refresh and enhance their media interview skills. Without regular attention, newly acquired skills can easily be lost. Ideally this is done annually. This is a great opportunity to not only refresh the skills you already have, but refine them with practice.

Is this different from the introductory course?

It's similar to the introductory course, covering message development, body language, answering questions and creating effective sound bites. However there are differences. These include:

• You are on camera 5 times
• We will cover some different interview formats
• We look at what's changed over the last few years
• There will be no more than 6 school leaders attending public workshops

These are held in Christchurch and Auckland. Individual leaders from different schools come together. for the workshops.
