With a background in media training and media advisory at the highest level, plus experience as an education reporter, Pete can meet every media need or question you may have. While the focus of Media Training NZ is on training, Pete also offers media advisory services specifically for primary and secondary education.

What does this include?

• Generating positive and reputation-building media coverage for your school. This can be either one-off or ongoing. This is if no-one can attend our “Get free media publicity for your School,” course.
• Producing a tailored media plan focused on attracting good media attention for your school
• Developing a media policy for your school including who does and says what regarding media relations
• Advice on dealing with media in difficult situations (although the best thing to do here is to complete our media Interview Training for School Leaders course before you need these skills)
• Help putting together your school’s Crisis Communication Plan. This is if you can’t attend the “Crisis Communication Training for Schools” course, or want help developing material from there into your own tailored plan.”
