News media management courses and workshops for Catholic Education Office schools

All courses and workshops are designed to protect and grow the reputation of your school. Some options are online, some can be presented exclusively for your school at your school, while others involve leaders from different catholic schools joining together for practical workshops. All options can also be offered through Dioceses or other groups. Prices below are all discounted specifically for CEO schools.

Online Media Interview Training 

School leaders can be thrust into the national media spotlight without warning. This could be after an earthquake, the death of a student, serious allegations, or a myriad of other possibilities. This online training is unique because it involves both theory and practice. After watching each of the 10 videos (averaging 4 minutes each), you are asked to complete an exercise. Many of these exercises involve you conducting an interview on an in-built scenario through your own webcam. The interview scenarios relevent to schools include the following. The death or serious injury to a student, allegations levelled against your school, you just won something, you just launched something, a data breach, profile interview of a newly appointed leader (handy if you take on a new role). 

Individuals are usually charged $590 for three months access to this course. The special CEO rate is $450+GST for one or $750+GST for two. For more on this online training, view the video at this link.

Attend a two-hour workshop with other Catholic school leaders ($990+GST for 2). Highly recommend that you bring at least a third person, and possibly 4th at $395+GSTpp. These prices include a plan template for each school.
